Squeeze out as much water as you possibly can from the hide.
Wring out and hang.
The feel of the fabric is stiff like walking on padded vinyl.
Backstitch at the end turn the rug over to the fur side and use the brush to remove any articles and make the fur soft.

Line up the raw edges of your main rug fabric and the border fabric that you just ripped into strips.
Use a large table or clear a space on the floor.

You can hand pick some if you d like i did but there will be about 2 2 million pieces of debris in there just to forewarn you.
