One half the kitchen utility room area has flat finished creamy brown ceramic tiles and the other half the entrance hall has the same size tiles but in gloss blue ceramic.
Making ceramic tiles using a stencil.
I chose to fold mine incase i decide to use the stencil again.
Once you have painted all of the full size tiles you will need to fold or cut your stencil to get the rest of the areas.
Use a small amount of paint at a time so you can be sure paint doesn t run underneath the stencil and ruin the design.
If necessary hold the stencil firmly to the tile with one hand while painting or sponging the ceramic tile paint on with the other hand.
If you start to get paint build up on the stencil you can wipe it off with a wet rag.
Repeat as needed on other tiles.
Whether you use a random or preset order the choice is yours.
Repeat this step until the entire tile floor is stenciled.
How to stencil on ceramic tiles.
To finish stenciling the areas near a wall make sure to protect and mask off the wall or baseboard with painter s tape.
Use different tile stencils for each floor tile.
For long lasting designs use an oil based or urethane resin containing paint.
